In my first career, in the world of advertising, I learned to appreciate the magic of blending technology with creativity. A great photograph requires technology; the right light, the right camera settings the right application of software and much more. A great image also requires attention to all the elements of composition. And, finally, a remarkable image requires the nuances an insightful photographer captures by listening to, directing and encouraging the subject.
